There is an included RLC for adjusting the amount of bass, depending on the type of music being played. The onboard crossover is adjustable from 50-500Hz and the bass EQ circuit is centered at 40Hz, with up to 12dB of boost. The DST1000DII measures just 12.75 x 4.3 inches, extremely small considering its power.
