The THUNDER52 is a 5.25" 2-way coaxial speaker pair that can handle up to 45-watts RMS power. THUNDER speakers are set apart from the "other guys" because of their ability to reproduce low frequencies other speakers cannot. The THUNDER52 plays all the way down to 55Hz — so even in systems that don't have subwoofers, you can get an excellent bass response for all kinds of music. The THUNDER52 uses a polypropylene woofer that's incredibly durable and a 15-degree pivoting tweeter to assist in obtaining the best imaging based on install location. The speaker's concave cone design also assists in delivering exceptional imaging — especially when speakers are mounted in the doors of a vehicle. This model includes a high-temperature 4 Ohm voice coil and incorporates Spider Plateau Venting to ensure cool air is targeting the voice coil ensuring reliability over time.
